sophiajacob is pleased to present new works by Zoë Clark, Caitlin Cunningham, and Chris LaVoie. This temporary, off-site exhibition will take place in the parking garage of the Capitol Skyline Hotel in Washington D.C.

Zoë Clark has participated in exhibitions with Portland State University, sophiajacob, Recess Gallery, half/dozen, and Car Hole Gallery. She was a founding member of 12128, an exhibition space and studio located on a decommissioned fishing boat. Zoë recently published an anthology of her collaborative publication series, Summer Sigs, with Container Corps. She lives and works in Portland, OR.

Caitlin Cunningham holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and resides in Baltimore. This summer, Caitlin exhibited collage and sculpture at the Walters Art Gallery as part of the Sondheim Finalist exhibition. Notable group exhibitions include Gran Prix, curated by Gresham's Ghost, Black Foliage curated by Matthew Craven, Glass House at Nudashank, and Encountering Nature at Towson University. Last fall, Caitlin organized a two-person exhibition of potted weeds at the Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore. Her first solo exhibition was with sophiajacob in April of 2013.

Christopher LaVoie received a BFA from the University of Arizona in 2004, and an MFA from the Rinehart School of Sculpture in 2008. He has shown his work extensively throughout the region, notably in solo exhibitions at the Arlington Arts Center in Virginia, McDaniel College in Maryland, and sophiajacob. Most recently he has been included in group exhibitions at Towson University and the Contemporary Museum. Chris lives and works in Baltimore, where he teaches sculpture at MICA and Towson University.
