Megan Plunkett
March 8, 2014

sophiajacob welcomes a video installation by Megan Plunkett. For this one-night only exhibition, Megan will premiere a 43-minute piece, shot through reflective glass, that is at once unexpectedly tense and awkwardly intimate. Using simple devices of abstraction, Megan crystallizes and extends a moment of found action.

Megan Plunkett is an artist and co-publisher of The Kingsboro Press. She completed her BFA at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. In 2013, she was the inaugural artist in Good Press Gallery's Remote Residency, and has exhibited work at Mitchell-Innes & Nash, W/, Light Industry, Szechuan Best, and Golden Age. She lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.

Please join us for a reception on Saturday, March 8th from 7-10pm.
